Welcome and aloha! This online service is designed to allow individuals to reserve and purchase camping and cabin permits for Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation.

Please note that you must PURCHASE and be able to produce a copy of your permit either in printed or electronic form, while camping or lodging within any park. It is not possible to purchase a permit at County parks. ALL PERMITS REQUIRE A FEE - THERE IS NO FREE CAMPING IN HAWAII COUNTY PARKS.

Camping Fees

Adult (18 years old and over) = $6.00* per adult per night.  (Non-Residents $21.00* per adult per night)

Junior (13 to 17 years old) = $3.00* per junior per night.  (Non-Residents $21.00* per junior per night)

Children (12 years and under) = *$1.00 per child per night.  (Non-Residents $20.00 per child per night)

*I understand for each permit purchased, either through this online service or over-the-counter at agency offices, a $1.00 per adult and $1.00 per junior per day online service provider processing fee is included. The online service provider processing fee or any order handling fee is non-refundable, including natural disaster events, emergency park closures, etc.  Additional refund policies may apply. A valid State of Hawaii ID or Hawaii Driver's License is required for resident rates.
